I’ll show you how I interpreted this month’s sketch, plus tips to get perfect proportions, add dimension, and make your tags stand out on any gift or project.

I started with a 2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Then I used the template I made last week to form the tag.

I used a hole punch I have on hand, but if you need one, there is a “Hole Punch Assortment” available in my online store for purchase.

I used the Stylish Shapes second largest circle to die cut a circle from the Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper and added it to the tag front.

I also used some candy canes from the sheet of die cuts included in the DSP pack. Then I added a greeting sticker from the Greetings for You Ephemera Pack. Tip: use your embossing buddy to pat onto any visible stickiness.

I cut a 6″ piece of Real Red and White Bakers Twine, folded it in half and threaded the loop through the hole from the front. Then fed the tails through the loop.

Your turn! Post a picture of what you made with this sketch on the Facebook Post Monday, Nov. 10th, and be entered into a drawing for a prize. Drawing is December 12.
