In this video, I’ll walk you through how to take a simple sketch template and turn it into a fun, playful safari-themed card.
The product of the month is the Silly Safari bundle which includes the stamp set and a 1-7/8″ circle punch (165260).
Measurements:
- Basic White: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 (score at 4-1/4)-base
- Basic White: 3 x 2 (focal layer)
- Shaded Spruce: 5 x 2-1/4
- Granny Apple Green: 5 x 2
- Shy Shamrock: 5 x 2
- Lemon Lime Twist: 5 x 2
Using a 2″ circle punch, punch 1 piece of Shaded Spruce and set aside. Using a 1-7/8″ circle punch, punch 2 each of the other greens and one in Shaded Spruce.
Stamp an animal image onto Basic White scrap, color with Stampin’ Blends and punch with 1-7/8″ circle punch. Adhere this to the 2″ circle, then to the card front.
Stamp a greeting on one of the remaining circles and adhere. Then adhere the rest of the circles randomly.
Flip the card over and trim the excess circles. I added a linen thread bow. Easy peasy!!!
