Here’s another project made with my product of the month, Banner Sayings Bundle (167051). This is so easy and very duplicatable with whatever you have on hand!

This uses the standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base and a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of DSP (designer series paper).

I cut the DSP diagonally from upper right to lower left and am only using the left side. Because my DSP is non-directional, I can make another card just like this one!

I dry-fit the DSP where I want it on the card front and then, leaving about 1/4″ on the right, mark the top and bottom lightly with a pencil. Then cover the left portion with a piece of scrap paper lining up with the pencil marks and taping down both the scrap paper and the card base with removable tape. This ensures neither moves while you stamp.

I chose the “Celebrate” stamp and Secret Sea ink. I lined up my ruler with the 1″ mark at the top corner and stamped down at each inch mark. Then I removed the ruler and stamped between each again, just eyeballing where the center is.

Then I removed the scrap paper and adhered the DSP.

I punched a banner and stamped Happy Birthday, made a big loopy bow with Old Olive bakers twine and adhered it to the back of the banner with a glue dot. Then adhered the banner to the card front with dimensionals.
