This is just one of the beautiful cards in the June class featuring the Valley in Bloom Suite (167951)!
Here’s a supply list:
- Coastal Cabana: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 (base)
- Basic White: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 (die cuts); 2-3/4 x 4-1/4 (inside)
- Pretty Peacock: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 (mat)
- Silver Foil: 2 x 2
I always start by folding my card base and setting it aside while I create the pieces. Always adhere last so you have the option to make adjustments if you wish.
I started by using the lattice die and cutting it out of the center of the Pretty Peacock. This saves a little paper and nobody will notice once the DSP is adhered!

Stamp the small floral image in Pretty Peacock ink twice one one end of the 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 white (leave room for the circle die). Also stamp this image on the inside white piece.

Before cutting these out, I used a blender pen and a little ink on the corner of an acrylic block to color the leaves (Pretty Peacock) and added a little shading to the “bells” (Fresh Freesia). I find it much easier to color before cutting them out, so I have something to hold!

Then I stamp the greeting onto the die cut circle. I used Stylish Shapes, but you can use any circle die or punch that’s approximately 3″. After stamping, I ran the circle through the Floral Spray 3D embossing folder (included with the suite).

Time to assemble! I adhered the DSP to the Pretty Peacock and then to the card front. I dry-fit the circle and the lattice, tucking the ends under the circle and adhered the lattice. I “wheeled” the circle edge through the Pretty Peacock ink before adhering that down.

When adhering the flowers, I used mini dimensionals behind the “bells” and glue on the stems. I added 3 of the Dewdrops Embellishments to finish it off.
