If you caught the video from the May card class, you noticed that I have marks on my punch to indicate where a half circle is. Let me show you how I did it.
Start with scrap paper (printer paper will do) big enough to get two circles from a punch. At one end, punch the circle.

Fold the circle in half, then in half again to make a pie shape.


Open and flatten the circle and set it back down on the scrap paper. Draw around the circle noting where the fold marks are. Remove the punched circle and draw the fold mark lines on the inside of the drawn circle.



With your punch upside down, align the drawn circle inside your punch. Use a Sharpie to mark the sides of the bottom of your punch with the drawn marks. Now you know right where a half circle is! I only marked each side, but you may choose to mark the top and bottom as well.
